Herbal facial steam
a carefully crafted blend of skin loving botanicals designed to open the pores, cleanse and tighten the skin and make it open and available to take in moisture. be sure to follow with a gentle toner and face moisturiser for best results.
directions: place a small handful of herbs in a pot of water and bring to the boil for 2 minutes with the lid on. allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, then, with a towel over your head, carefully place your face about 30cm from the bowl, tenting your head with the towel to allow you to breath in the steam. as the water cools you may bring your face closer to the bowl. deeply breath in the volatile oils for around 10 minutes and follow with a moisturiser. for use no more than once per week.
