Lavender Lemonade Cordial Kit
A floral lavender cordial kit with butterfly pea flowers and lemon that changes colour in the glass! The natural deep indigo hue from butterfly pea flowers shifts from dark purple to light pink when you add lemon juice at serving time. Perfect served chilled over ice, with sparkling water, or wine or used as a base for cocktails and mocktails.
To Make: Add full contents of kit to a large pot then stir in one cup of boiling water to activate pigment. Top with another 1.5 L of water.
Add 800g sugar, honey or a mixture of both and stir to a gentle boil for 5 minutes, turn off the heat cover and allow to infuse for several hours.
Fine strain and bottle in sterilised jars then store in the fridge for up to 8 weeks
To Use: Mix 1:6 with cold still or sparkling water – Add to cocktails, mocktails, prosecco or iced tea – Stir through desserts or drizzle over cakes and pancakes – make into jelly or gummy lollies! - make into a warm tonic tea to take to bed
